OUR FOCUS
The Phoenix Metro Chapter will focus on four of the national pillars.
Crisis Intake & Victim Assistance
Working with our NAN National Crisis Center, the Phoenix Metro chapter will offer assistance and provide referrals to clients to help fight against police misconduct and other injustices by ensuring those whose rights are violated are brought to justice.
Voting Rights & Advocacy
NAN is leading the fight against voter suppression and voter ID laws. The NAN Phoenix Metro Chapter will fight to ensure every person’s right to vote is protected and exercised.
Youth Leadership
The voice of our youth is and has been at the forefront of the movement of Civil Rights. NAN is dedicated to ensuring the voices of our young people is heard as they lead the fight for the next generations. The NAN Phoenix Metro Chapter will partner on National events as well as execute local initiatives.
Bridging the Digital Divide
Digitalization is changing the future of how we work. It’s critically important that the benefit of technology is available to every person, home, and business. In alliance with NAN Newark Tech World, the Phoenix Metro Chapter will ensure old and young alike are adapting to the future ahead and can be competitive members of the workforce by hosting hackathons and technology 101 classes.
